About Melissa Fox for Irvine City Council
Melissa Fox is an Orange County native, business owner, attorney, wife, mother, volunteer and dedicated community leader.
Melissa currently serves as a Commissioner on the City of Irvine Community Services Commission. She is the founder and lead attorney of the Melissa Fox Law Firm in Irvine and has practiced business, corporate, and commercial law in Orange County for 20 years, advising large and small businesses, as well as organizations and individuals. She is a member of the Bars of the State of California and the United States Tax Court, and a graduate of Brandeis University and Tulane University School of Law. Her specialty is fighting fraud.
In addition to her service on the Irvine Community Services Commission, Melissa participates in many professional and community organizations, including the Irvine Chamber of Commerce, the Exchange Club of Irvine, and the Women Lawyers Association. She has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Beckman High School Football Boosters and Beckman High School Wrestling Boosters, and serves as an adult volunteer with the Sea Scouts at the Newport Sea Base. Melissa also served in the Orange County Parks Ranger Reserve.
Melissa lives with her husband, Dr. Michael Fox, their teenage son Max, and their Siberian Husky Scout, in the Northpark community of Irvine.
